Patna: It is capital of Bihar. During the ancient period, it was popular as ‘Patliputra;’ therefore, it has many ancient sites as well as modern sites. Significant ancient sites are:
- Kumhrar: It is located in capital of Bihar i.e. Patna. It is an ancient site.
- Agam Kuan: Agam Kuan is an ancient site; it is believed that it belongs to Maurya Emperor Ashoka. The literal meaning of the word is "unfathomable well.”
