This structure is popularly known as Jantar Mantar, which constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh. Of course, this structure is centuries old, but it is adorned by the modern and advanced technology, which portrays a very good example of amalgamation of religion and science. Samrat Yantra

Samrat Yantra:
The measurement of this structure is – 114 feet long, 70 feet high, and 10 feet thick and has triangle shape. Furthermore, it has 128 feet long hypotenuse, which is parallel to the Earth’s axis and points toward the North Pole. It is designed in such a manner that on both side of the triangle is a quadrant indicating hours, minutes, and seconds. The purpose of giving such kind of design is to measure the declination and other relevant coordinates of different heavenly bodies.

Jayaprakash Yantra: It comprises of a hollow hemispheres. In this hemisphere there is wire stretched between the points of their rim. And it is used to align the position of a star with various markings or a window's edge.
